4-5" - Generally stocked as a supplement to a bass/bluegill pond. Adults average 15-25 inches in length and usually weigh 2-10 lbs. They eat a wide range of items including fish, insects and crayfish. Spawning occurs when the water temperature reaches the mid-70s but artificial structures must be placed in the pond for spawning to be successful. Find out more from ODNR.
